Job summary

Alpaca is a US-headquartered, global leader in brokerage infrastructure. We seek a Sr. Sales Engineer to bridge technical and business conversations for enterprise partners, with API expertise and Mandarin fluency for customer interactions.

You will support enterprise customers, lead API integration, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and drive end-to-end technical sales engagements while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise / B2B customers in technical, sales engineering, or solutions engineering roles (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and integration workflows; hands-on with APIs, WebSockets, Postman, Grafana, and JSON.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable terms.
• Self-starter who thrives in a startup environment and drives projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and relationship management for existing enterprise customers.
• Partner with Sales and Solutions on pre-sales talks, design, and API consultations.
• Guide new enterprise customers through API integration, implementation, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to translate requirements into clear specs.
• Own technical sales engagement end-to-end: discovery, RFPs, security questionnaires.
• Create sales materials and coordinate with regulators, vendors, and partners.
