Job summary

Steer is seeking an Account Executive, Customer Expansion to grow revenue within an existing customer base. You will own the full sales cycle, from discovery to closing, focusing on CRM and phones product upgrades for automotive repair shops.

This remote role requires strong outbound skills and the ability to build trust with small business owners. You will thrive in a high-volume environment, manage a robust pipeline, and collaborate with teams to ensure customer success post-sale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning and closing full-cycle sales opportunities.
• Comfortable making proactive calls to generate revenue opportunities.
• Strong discovery, presentation, objection-handling, negotiation and closing skills.
• History of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive account expansion by engaging Steer customers for CRM and phones upgrades.
• Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to discovery, demos, proposals, negotiations and close.
• Use consultative selling to map shop goals to Steer's platform value.
• Maintain a healthy, forecastable pipeline with up-to-date CRM records.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure post-sale success.
