Job summary

Catalent is seeking an Account Director of Business Development in Clinical Development and Supply. This remote field-based role focuses on expanding Catalent’s book of business, developing high-level client relationships, and achieving sales targets across global markets.

You will negotiate quotations, CDAs, and MSAs, manage strategic accounts, and collaborate with senior leadership to drive growth while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences preferred.
• 5+ years of contract pharmaceutical business experience with emphasis on clinical services preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiating skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, revenue, and funnel targets to drive growth.
• Develop and maintain high-level client relationships across levels.
• Participate in strategic account meetings and report progress to senior leadership.
• Create annual strategic account plans to grow Catalent’s strategic base.
• Attend tradeshows, exhibits, and professional organizations to generate leads and visibility.
• Plan steering committee and business reviews to foster growth and trust between Catalent and customers.
• Maintain knowledge of Catalent’s offerings, industry trends, and competitor capabilities.
• Manage personal expenses within budgets.
