Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Sales Development Account Manager to fuel new business and revenue growth. You will partner with Business Development, Marketing, Commercial, and Operations to build a robust pipeline and engage prospective clients.

This Level 3 role develops leadership capabilities, with training, ownership across the sales cycle, and potential mentoring opportunities. Remote role open to US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences is required.
• Minimum 3 years of inside sales and/or sales development experience.
• Minimum 6 months as Sales Development Account Manager, Level 2 within Worldwide.
• CRO or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred, incl. Phase I–IV knowledge.
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM; proficient with sales automation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong new business pipeline through inbound/outbound prospecting and outreach.
• Develop territory plans with Business Development and Marketing to drive acquisition and revenue.
• Engage prospects via calls, email, social outreach, and meetings to understand needs.
• Manage target accounts and pipeline forecasting in Salesforce with accurate data.
• Advance opportunities through the sales process; schedule appointments and coordinate next steps.
• Grow client relationships and identify expansion and upsell opportunities.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Operations, Marketing and subject matter experts to support RFPs, discussions, quotations and bid defense.
• Develop Business Development and management capabilities through training and collaboration with leadership.
