Job summary

Learner Education is hiring an Academic Sales Representative to convert inbound inquiries into enrollments for tutoring services. This fully remote role focuses on understanding family needs, presenting tutoring options, handling objections, and closing deals while maintaining CRM records and meeting performance targets.

Applicants should have 2+ years in sales, a proven track record with quotas, and strong communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in consultative or enrollment sales.
• Experience working toward sales quotas, KPIs, conversion goals, or revenue targets.
• Experience handling objections, discussing pricing, and closing opportunities.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach to managing leads and commitments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Accountability, reliability, and receptiveness to feedback.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven remote environment.
• Comfortable speaking with prospective families by phone.
• Reliable home workspace and internet.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students and families who expressed interest in tutoring.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand academic challenges and goals.
• Recommend tutoring solutions and communicate their value clearly.
• Discuss pricing, handle objections, and close enrollments.
• Build trust through professional phone, text, and email communication.
• Follow up with families and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Manage a high volume of inbound leads while maintaining a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of conversations, follow-ups, and outcomes.
• Work toward enrollment, revenue, and performance goals.
• Welcome coaching and continually improve sales performance.
