Job summary

The American Marketing Association offers a fully remote Academic Communities Intern position for students located in AL, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WI. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college/university.
• Experience in customer service or volunteer management.
• Experience with Google Suite.
• Ability to work remotely 24 hours/week.
• Keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage Special Interest Group (SIG) webpages.
• Assist with SIG budget and financial management, including payments, reimbursements, and invoices.
• Support the Manager, Academic Communities, with planning and logistics for the 2027 Winter Academic, Virtual Winter Academic, Summer Academic, and Marketing and Public Policy conferences.
• Respond to attendee inquiries alongside the Manager, Academic Communities, and Customer Support team.
• Help execute Conference and SIG awards processes.
• Assist the Senior Copy Editor with conference proceedings administration.
