Job summary

The American Marketing Association offers an Academic Communities Intern position that is fully remote and requires residency in listed states. You will support the academic community of marketers by delivering events, supporting volunteer leaders, and fostering a sense of home for scholars and professionals.

Qualified applicants are enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college, have customer service or volunteer management experience, and are proficient with Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year college/university.
• Customer service or volunteer management experience.
• Experience with Google Suite.
• Detail-oriented and able to work remotely 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage SIG webpages.
• Assist with SIG budget, payments, reimbursements, and invoices.
• Support planning for 2027 conferences and events.
• Respond to attendee inquiries with the team.
• Assist with conference and SIG awards processes.
• Support conference proceedings administration.
