Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking an Academic Advisor II to remotely support students across the United States. You will provide personalized academic advising, craft degree plans, and link students to campus resources to foster persistence and degree completion.

In addition, you will contribute to training, quality assurance, and process improvements within the Student Success team, utilizing your advising expertise and collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and at least 1 year of academic advising or related student services experience.
• Knowledge of academic processes, policies, and degree requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and training skills.
• Experience with student information systems and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized academic advising and develop individualized degree plans.
• Connect students with university resources to support persistence and degree completion.
• Serve as a resource for training, quality assurance, and process improvement.
• Manage competing responsibilities and maintain accurate student records.
