The Academic Advisor for Undergraduate Students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott Campus, provides comprehensive academic guidance and student support within a rigorous, aviation and STEM focused learning environment. This role supports students from matriculation through graduation by assisting with academic planning, course selection, degree requirements, university policies, and institutional resources. Advisors work closely with faculty, student services, and campus partners to promote student success, retention, and timely degree completion while upholding Embry-Riddle's academic standards and mission.
The advisor serves as a primary point of contact for undergraduate students, offering individualized advising that aligns academic goals with career aspirations in aviation, aerospace, engineering, security, and related fields. Responsibilities include monitoring academic progress, interpreting degree audits, supporting students on academic probation or at risk, and providing guidance on registration, transfer credit, internships, and experiential learning opportunities. The position also contributes to orientation programs, outreach initiatives, and campus events, and maintains accurate advising records in compliance with university and accreditation requirements.
This role requires strong knowledge of Embry-Riddle Prescott academic programs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support a diverse student population in a fast paced, mission driven campus environment.
The annual salary range for this role is up to $46,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.
