Job summary
GTatelecom is seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to join our Ericsson Cloud RAN and 5G Core operations in a remote USA role. You will work on lab integration, testing, upgrades, and automation.
The ideal candidate has hands-on Ericsson Cloud RAN, EPC and 5G Core experience, strong scripting in Python or C/C++, and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across RAN and Core.
Qualifications
- Experience with Ericsson Cloud RAN, EPC, and 5G Core networks.
- Strong hands-on lab integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in Python and/or C/C++ for automation.
Responsibilities
- Support Ericsson Cloud RAN and EPC operations, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Work with 5G Core Network Functions including AMF, SMF, and UPF.
- Perform lab integration, software upgrades, validation, troubleshooting, and post-upgrade testing.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python and/or C/C++.
- Troubleshoot network, application, and protocol-level issues across RAN and Core environments.
- Support test execution, issue analysis, RCA, and resolution of complex network problems.
- Develop and execute MOPs/test procedures for network changes and upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, testing, and development teams.
