Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Retirement Plan Sales Representative to grow the client base in the Human Resource Services organization. You will present retirement and FSA products to final decision makers, schedule appointments, and secure referrals through various channels.

Join a team focused on revenue growth, client satisfaction, and ongoing skill development. This role may require travel for conferences and training to expand regional or national presence.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in relevant Paychex experience and successful completion of required training programs and/or certification.
• 2 years of experience in relevant sales/sales management.

Responsibilities

• Presents all retirement plan and flexible spending account products to final decision makers and end users within the prospect universe to close new sales.
• Schedules appointments and visits potential and current referral sources to secure referrals.
• Prospects using calls, mail, seminars, and local marketing programs to seek new clients and referrals.
• Analyzes prospects’ needs and determines which products are appropriate for them.
• Expedites resolution of client problems or complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Enters prospects, sales and client notes into Salesforce.com to ensure seamless selling.
• Projects a positive image representing the company to clients and the community.
• Pursues ongoing sales skill development and completes SAFE examinations to stay current.
