Job summary

Tradewind Aviation, LLC is seeking a Scheduler for the 3rd shift with remote work after training. The role focuses on maximizing fleet utilization, checking crew and aircraft availability, and delivering efficient service while supporting the Sales team. Periodic onsite attendance in Oxford, CT is required.

The position requires aviation scheduling experience, familiarity with scheduling software, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A FAA dispatch license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months aviation experience as an Aircraft Scheduler.
• Experience in aviation scheduling software.
• FAA dispatch license preferred.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle frequent changes.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a culture of total client service, focused on anticipating client needs and exceeding their expectations.
• Identify safety hazards and report to a supervisor or through the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Monitor current flights and ensure proceeding trips are not delayed.
• Handle schedule interruptions and notify applicable departments.
• Schedule new trips.
• Maximize the efficiency of crew and aircraft schedules.
• Ensure compliance with FARs and company policies.
• Provide trip availability to Sales.
• Coordinate trip changes with Client Services.
• Arrange schedule to fulfill maintenance needs.
• Assist with crew training.
• Build new scheduled service flights as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
