Job summary

Tradewind Aviation, LLC is seeking a Scheduler to maximize fleet utilization and support the Sales team by checking crew and aircraft availability. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and onsite attendance one week per quarter in Oxford, CT.

After training, the position becomes fully remote. The Scheduler will optimize crew and aircraft schedules, monitor flights, and ensure timely departures while complying with FARs and company policies.

Qualifications

• 6+ months aviation experience as an Aircraft Scheduler.
• Experience in aviation scheduling software.
• FAA dispatch license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a culture of total client service, focused on anticipating client needs and exceeding their expectations.
• Identify safety hazards and report to a supervisor or through the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Monitor current flights and ensure proceeding trips are not delayed.
• Handle schedule interruptions and notify applicable departments.
• Schedule new trips.
• Maximize the efficiency of crew and aircraft schedules.
• Ensure compliance with FARs and company policies.
• Provide trip availability to Sales.
• Coordinate trip changes with Client Services.
• Arrange schedule to fulfill maintenance needs.
• Assist with crew training.
• Build new scheduled service flights as necessary.
