Job summary

Tradewind Aviation is seeking a Scheduler to be based at our Oxford, CT location. The role focuses on maximizing fleet utilization by checking crew and aircraft availability to meet demand and supporting Sales with trip planning.

Responsibilities include monitoring flights, managing schedule changes, coordinating with Client Services, and maintaining compliance with FARs in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months aviation scheduling experience.
• Experience using aviation scheduling software.
• FAA dispatch license preferred.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle frequent changes and stressful situations.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a culture of total client service, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
• Identify safety hazards and report through the SMS.
• Monitor current flights and ensure subsequent trips are not delayed.
• Handle schedule interruptions and coordinate with affected departments.
• Schedule new trips and maximize crew/aircraft efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with FARs and company policies.
• Provide trip availability to Sales and coordinate changes with Client Services.
• Arrange schedules to fulfill maintenance needs and assist with crew training.
• Build new scheduled service flights as necessary.
