Tradewind Aviation is seeking a full-time Supervisor, Operations in Oxford, CT. The role leads the Operations Center, overseeing daily scheduling and dispatch activities to maintain safe, efficient flight operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in aircraft scheduling/dispatch, proven leadership, and strong communication. FAA dispatcher certificate preferred. You will coach staff, ensure SOP adherence, and coordinate with other departments to meet company objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum high school diploma; college degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of Aircraft Scheduling and Dispatch experience in an Operations Center.
• Demonstrated leadership coordinating teams and resources.
• Strong aviation operations knowledge and customer service expectations.
• Ability to stay composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of the Operations Center.
• Maintain situational awareness of all operational activities and identify potential issues.
• Delegate resources and responsibilities to maximize efficiency and balance workload.
• Monitor team performance and ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time.
• Lead by example in adherence to SOPs and promote safety and customer focus.
• Run daily operations meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Interface with other departments to support objectives and SOP compliance.
• Provide Scheduling and Dispatch coverage during PTO or staffing shortages.
• Participate in interviews and candidate evaluations as requested.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
• Additional duties as assigned.
