Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join our results-driven team. The role emphasizes negotiating resolutions, arranging payments, and maintaining regulatory compliance while handling high-volume calls in a remote setup.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in third-party collections, strong negotiation and communication skills, and familiarity with skip-tracing tools. Remote-friendly with professional home workspace required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Meet or exceed individual and department performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
