Job summary

Tri-Point is seeking a 3D Civil Modeler/Designer to join our team. You will create 3D surface models for GPS machine control and construction layout, bridging design and field execution.

The role involves remote work with occasional travel to job sites in the market. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience building 3D surfaces using Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation InRoads or Terramodel, and strong reading of construction plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction or Civil Engineering or equivalent heavy civil work or surveyor experience.
• 3–5 years experience building 3D surfaces with common modeling tools.
• Knowledge of GPS/machine control technology is important.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D surface models for GPS machine control and construction layout.
• Review client CAD files and plans to ensure data completeness.
• Develop layout maps and 3D models meeting client requirements.
