Job summary

Tri-Point, a SITECH Northeast affiliate, is seeking a 3D Civil Modeler/Designer to produce accurate 3D surface models for GPS machine control and construction layout.

This primarily remote role includes occasional site visits, and requires expertise with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation InRoads. 3–5 years of experience and strong data interpretation are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction or Civil Engineering
• 3–5 years experience building 3D surfaces with listed software
• Experience with Trimble, Topcon, Leica machine control equipment a strong plus
• Knowledge of reading construction plans
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and remotely

Responsibilities

• Collect data from clients to build 3D surface models.
• Review client CAD files to ensure data is complete for modeling.
• Develop layout maps and 3D surfaces to meet client requirements.
• Handle multiple projects with 1–2 week turnarounds during peak periods
