Job summary

Deluxe is seeking a Processing Specialist I in Charlotte, NC to perform day‑to‑day remittance processing tasks under supervision. You will operate mailroom equipment, batch transactions, and support dispatch with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires basic education (HS diploma) and the ability to work a 4x10 shift Fri-Mon, with flexible hours and potential overtime. Excellent attention to detail and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be detail oriented with good hand‑eye coordination and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to read, decide and operate in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime and/off shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate mail extraction and sorting equipment to batch work for processing.
• Batch checks, invoices, and coupons per client instructions.
• Dispatch and quality review of outgoing items including HIPAA clients.
• Prepare daily reconciliation and billing reports; maintain performance standards.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs to job‑related equipment.
• Sort transactions and make basic decisions on batches.
