Andrews Federal Credit Union in Suitland, MD is seeking a Payment Systems Specialist to support remittance processing and Mobile Remote Deposit Capture (RDC). You will cross-train across departments and assist Frontline Team-members and other Business Units, while maintaining production logs and processing accuracy.

The role requires 1–2 years in a financial institution, strong Microsoft Office and spreadsheet skills, and excellent verbal/written communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of financial institution experience preferred (teller, check processing, or back office).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheet skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Deposits, Consumer Loan and Mortgage Remittance processing.
• Balance and settle the remittance extract and posting files; post GL entries.
• Monitor and review Mobile RDC; approve or return unacceptable check images.
• Maintain daily production tracking reports/logs.
• Cross-train in interdepartmental support areas and assist on projects.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and application resources; serve as primary contact for inquiries.
