Andrews Federal Credit Union is seeking a Payment Systems Specialist to perform remittance processing, monitor Mobile RDC, and support frontline teams. The role requires 1–2 years in a financial institution and strong detail orientation, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

You will participate in cross-training and help implement new procedures within a collaborative team. Remote position available with duties across various units; expect adherence to internal policies and regulatory

Formación

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of financial institution experience preferred (Teller, Check Processing or Back Office).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheet skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy a must.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Process deposits remittance processing.
• Balance and settle remittance extracts and posting files; post general ledger entries.
• Monitor Mobile RDC; approve or return unacceptable check images within timeframe.
• Maintain daily production tracking reports/logs.
• Participate in cross-training and project implementations.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment application resources.
• Serve as primary contact for inquiries on assigned tasks.
• Review and publish new procedures reflecting internal enhancements or regulatory changes.
• Respond to Synapsys Events, DTS and other Payment Systems inquiries.
• Support Disaster Recovery as needed.
• Stay cognizant of Electronic Check Image Exchange regulatory changes and product features.
• Adhere to Andrews Federal Employee policies and procedures.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Under minimal supervision, the Payment Systems Specialist must be flexible, a fast learner and willingness to perform a variety of task; primary focus will include, remittance processing, monitor and review Mobile Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), Crosstrain in interdepartmental support areas; provide support to Frontline Team-members, and other Business Units; support Organization goals and initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Process Deposits Consumer Loan and Mortgage Remittance processing.
• Balance and settle the remittance extract and posting files, post general ledger entries.
• Monitor and review Mobile Deposit Check (RDC); approve or return unacceptable check images, within established timeframe.
• Maintain daily production tracking reports/logs, as required.
• Participate in departmental cross-training member support areas, including assigned projects implementations.
• Maintain knowledge proficiency of equipment application resources.
• Serve as a primary source for all inquiries pertaining to assigned tasks.
• Review, edit and publish new procedures as required to reflect internal enhancements, and regulatory changes.
• Respond to Synapsys Events, DTS and other Payment Systems member Inquiries.
• Serve as Disaster Recovery Support Team Member as needed, according to qualifications.
• Remain cognizant of Electronic Check Image Exchange regulatory and industry changes; Internal product features and benefits, including new product implementations.
• Adherence to Andrews Federal Employee policies and procedures.

EDUCATION

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

• The position requires one to two years of financial institution experience, preferably Teller, Check Processing or Back Office Operation environment.
