Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks an early career Electro-Mechanical Engineer – Level 2 in Linthicum, MD to lead mechanical design, analysis, integration and testing for RF, EO, digital and power hardware across satellite programs.

You will work with a cross-functional team of mechanical, electrical and systems engineers from concept through hardware integration and test, delivering robust space hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years engineering experience.
• Proven proficiency with mechanical hardware design in RF/EO sensor hardware.
• Expert-level use of 3D CAD tools (Creo, Siemens NX).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet technical goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design, analysis, integration and testing for RF/EO sensor hardware.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and systems engineers across satellite programs.
• Develop clear documentation and review materials for milestones.
• Ensure cost, schedule and technical performance meet program objectives.
