Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer - Level 2 or Level 3, based in Dulles, VA. This on-site role focuses on designing spacecraft structures, mechanisms, and payload placement from concept through integration and test using Creo CAD and MB design methods.

You will work with multiple engineering teams on SGSE spacecraft subsystems, ensuring manufacturability and robust design while meeting customer requirements and security clearances.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 2 years of professional experience (Level 2) or Master's with 0 years (Level 2).
• Bachelor's with 5 years (Level 3) or Master's with 3 years or PhD with 1 year (Level 3).
• Experience with Creo Parametric CAD, GD&T, and MS Office required.

Responsabilidades

• Design spacecraft structures, mechanisms, and payload placement from concept to test.
• Produce detailed drawings and MB designs using Creo and GD&T.
• Interface with teams to ensure manufacturability and efficient parts.
• Perform detailed Creo CAD tasks and documentation for manufacture.
