Job summary

Epic, based on a campus just outside Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users. You’ll shape their experience as they transition to Epic and help them save lives, from instructional design to training materials and scenarios.

You’ll work in tight-knit teams to design workflow-based content, partner with organizations to develop training, and contribute to projects to make our software more intuitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required or preferred.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• History of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days with trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users; shape their Epic experience.
• Contribute to instructional design and develop training materials and scenarios.
• Collaborate with organizations to design workflow-based training content.
• Participate in projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
