Job summary

Epic, located just outside Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users. You will design and deliver training, becoming the primary contact for staff as they transition to Epic, and shape their experience through thoughtful instructional design.

You’ll collaborate with teams to create workflow-based content and training materials, while traveling up to 60% of days and benefiting from relocation assistance as you join our

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
• Serve as first point of contact for staff and users; shape their experience as they transition to Epic.
• Develop training materials and scenarios; deliver training from design to execution.
• Design workflow-based training content; work with organizations to develop training.
• Contribute to projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
