Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist in Georgia to ensure safe, accurate prescription filling and strong patient relationships. You will uphold Meijer policies, mentor technicians, and lead operations in the pharmacist-in-charge's absence, while delivering immunizations and clinical services.

The role requires a Doctorate or PharmD, active license, and competency in regulatory compliance and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies and regulations in the state of operation.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and support expansion of the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer Policies and Procedures and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as agent of change.
• Prioritize workload with excellent organization.
• Listen to the patient and resolve patient needs.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee (where allowed) clinical services, including immunizations
• Other duties as assigned or required.
