Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Michigan is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide patient-centered care, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will lead pharmacy services, immunizations, and team development, while maintaining strong relationships with patients and staff.

Qualifications include PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, state licensure, immunization certification, and retail experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Licensed/pharmacist in the practicing state.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team and leadership.
• Hold technicians accountable and help grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team to perform at a high level.
• Comply with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as agent of change.
• Organize workload and prioritize tasks.
• Listen to patients and resolve their needs.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
