Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is seeking a Relief Manager to supervise checkout area employees, coordinate front-end operations, and ensure a positive customer experience at our Manteca store. You will manage Combo Clerks, handle cash counts, and oversee transactions including debit, credit, gift cards, and EBT.

Responsibilities also include enforcing store policies, training staff, and maintaining a safe, well-organized department while supporting overall store goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over two years of cashier experience preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate checkout area staff and functions.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues with supervisor guidance.
• Assist in processing all transactions including cash, checks, and electronic payments.
• Maintain knowledge of store policies and promotions to assist customers.
• Ensure accuracy in cash handling and reporting at shift start/end.
