Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech C on the 2nd shift to sustain production equipment, reduce downtime, and support reliability initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform hands-on maintenance, assist senior technicians, and help implement basic improvements to processes and assets.

The role emphasizes safety, problem-solving, and continuous learning, with a focus on teaming with maintenance leads to keep lines running and quality high.

Qualifications

• Entry-to-mid level maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical systems and safety practices.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose problems, perform repairs or part replacements, and restore functionality.
• Carry out PM, PdM, and CBM activities to monitor equipment condition.
• Complete work orders and support plant reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and maintenance leads on improvements.
