Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Level C) for 2nd shift to support safe, reliable operation of production equipment. You will perform hands-on maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and collaborate with senior technicians to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, mechanical systems upkeep, and documenting issues and actions. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Maintain mechanical systems such as bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, shafts, motors, and gearboxes.
Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance to ensure safe, continuous operation.
Document and communicate issues, root causes, and corrective actions to maintenance and operations teams.
Complete assigned work orders supporting plant reliability and improvement initiatives.
