Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer for the Reliability Platform to design, build and operate mission-critical backend services and pipelines that measure SLOs and drive incidents from declaration through RCA.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure and Product teams, applying AI-assisted operations and shaping proactive, self-healing systems while delivering high-velocity, high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Platform engineering mindset focusing on APIs, abstractions, and workflows.
• 2+ years in infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering delivering complex systems.
• Proficient in Go (or similar) to design scalable, resilient services.
• Cloud/infra expertise with AWS, security best practices, containers, IaC like Terraform/Pulumi.
• SRE concepts: SLOs, error budgets, incident response.
• AI alignment: using AI tools to boost productivity and engineering outcomes.
• Curiosity about automation and agentic AI-backed operations.
