Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Reliability Manager II to lead and develop a maintenance organization within our plant operations, focusing on safe, reliable, and cost-efficient performance.

You will partner with the Plant Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize equipment, drive continuous improvement, and manage labor and materials within budget while advancing maintenance strategies and asset reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or related field.
• 5+ years in a supervisory/management role in an industrial environment.
• Multi-trade maintenance background (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians to achieve plant performance goals.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and productivity.
• Manage and optimize the maintenance labor budget and material spend to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Develop and track maintenance budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to support operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance best practices.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve asset reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Oversee contractors, consultants, and project work as required based on plant size and scope.
• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource constraints and operational challenges.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for maintenance strategies, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
