Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Reliability Manager II to lead a maintenance organization at our plant. You will partner with the Plant Manager to drive reliability, safety, and cost efficiency, developing the team and implementing preventive and predictive programs.

The role requires a multi-disciplined maintenance background, PLC/VFD/Allen-Bradley expertise, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to manage contractors. On-site, standard hours with flexibility to support operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in an industrial environment.
• Multi-trade maintenance background (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and maintenance operations effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians to achieve plant performance goals.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and productivity.
• Manage and optimize the maintenance labor budget and material spend to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Develop and track maintenance budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to support operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance best practices.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve asset reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Oversee contractors, consultants, and project work as required based on plant size and scope.
• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource constraints and operational challenges.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for maintenance strategies, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
