Job summary

Primient is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive maintenance optimization and capital project execution across plant assets. You will work in a collaborative team, developing inspection plans, predictive maintenance strategies, and asset care programs while advancing through our Engineering Ladder.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, apply root cause analysis and vibration/tribology techniques, and ensure equipment reliability for continuous processing environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Plant Maintenance & Reliability Engineering or similar technical role.
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems and processes.
• Ability to organize and implement projects to improve operations.
• Experience with root cause analysis and predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, acoustic emissions, tribology).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of pumps, fans, conveyors, bearings, seals, etc.
• Basic understanding of controls systems and integration with mechanical assets.
• Experience in Continuous Industrial Processing preferred over discrete manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP Maintenance or other EAM/CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Engineering: enable equipment maintainability, create parts lists, repair and inspection procedures.
• Develops Equipment Inspection Plans and Predictive Monitoring to detect wear and faults.
• Distills technical information into executable tasks, resources, and procedures for planners and tradesmen.
• Reliability Engineering: prevent equipment failures, downtime, and costs.
• Leads process systems reliability improvement and small-capex projects.
• Owns asset care strategies, lubrication programs, and CMMS usage.
• Supports capital equipment selection and integration into asset structures and care plans.
• Provides engineering solutions for obsolescence and defines execution metrics.
