Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls to uphold reliability and uptime.

Applicants should have 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong knowledge of NFPA 70B, NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70B, NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency with electrical testing instruments.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NEC.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections.
• Service power distribution systems, motors, and controls.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and actions.
• Ensure safety practices including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Collaborate with customers and team members.
• Support EHS initiatives and safety program.
• Identify maintenance risks and improvement opportunities.
• Travel as required.
