Job summary

Amteck, a nationally recognized Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications and NETA standards to maintain reliability and uptime.

The role focuses on power distribution, motors and controls, requires 5+ years of industrial experience, and demands strong safety practices

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical theory and power distribution.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
Proficient with electrical tools and diagnostic/testing equipment.
Familiarity with NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E and NEC rules.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
Inspect electrical components, wiring and connections for wear or damage.
Service and test power distribution systems, motors and controls.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and test results.
Adhere to safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
