Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to service electrical systems in industrial manufacturing environments. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards to keep facilities running safely and reliably.

The role requires experience in industrial electrical maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies following industry standards.
• Proficient with electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with arc-flash safety and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults; conduct infrared thermography.
• Inspect wiring, components, and controls for wear and damage; document findings.
• Service power distribution equipment, motors, and control systems to maintain uptime.
• Implement safe work practices including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Maintain accurate inspection and test documentation; report recommendations.
