Job summary

Amteck’s Service division is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role emphasizes NFPA 70B compliance, safety, and continuous operation of facility electrical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical theory knowledge, hands-on maintenance experience, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies aligned with industry standards.
High proficiency with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
Identify faults using infrared thermography to detect abnormal heat signatures.
Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
Maintain and service power distribution equipment, motors, and control systems.
Document inspections, test results, corrective actions, and recommendations.
Support safety programs and ensure compliance with LOTO and arc-flash requirements.
Communicate findings with customers, supervisors, and team members.
