Job summary

Mars, Incorporated is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Topeka, KS, to drive proactive maintenance and eliminate losses across the site. You will lead the PM Pillar and mentor Associates, applying TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma within a broad reliability strategy.

The role emphasizes governance of asset care, data-driven decision making, and oversight of maintenance for equipment, utilities, and facilities across the manufacturing footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related).
• 5+ Years of Industry Experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a multidisciplinary team of five Associates and drive performance management.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities; audit PM and PdM plans; track metrics (MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance).
• Lead Asset Optimization programs and PM Pillar initiatives within the CI framework.
• Govern Quality Calibrations and ensure audit-readiness across the site.
• Develop technical designs, schedules, and cost estimates for new infrastructure and equipment.
