Job summary
Mars is seeking a Reliability Engineer to eliminate maintenance losses by developing robust strategies for new and existing equipment. You will lead maintenance improvement tools (PM Optimization, RCM, RCA, FMEA) and leverage predictive methods (vibration, ultrasound, thermography) to drive reliability across the site.
You will train and coach technicians, use data to identify root causes, and collaborate with planners to schedule PM/PdM activities, ensuring cost-effective reliability
Qualifications
- 10 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to develop effective maintenance strategies to reduce technical losses.
- Strong data-driven problem solving and RCA capabilities.
- Experience with high-speed packaging and high-volume processing equipment.
- Knowledge of advanced maintenance practices is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and refine maintenance strategies for new and existing equipment.
- Lead PM optimization, RCAs, and FMEA to improve reliability.
- Coach technicians to use advanced maintenance tools.
- Analyze failure data to set PF curves and intervals.
- Coordinate with planners to ensure timely PM/PdM services.
