Job summary

GAF Commercial is seeking a Reliability Engineer II to build on foundational reliability responsibilities and own specific maintenance programs. You will lead initiatives to optimize machine uptime, reduce downtime, and raise asset reliability while cutting operating costs.

Collaboration with Maintenance and Operations is essential to achieve long-term reliability goals. You will develop action plans for lubrication, maintenance workflows, and workforce development, while tracking KPIs and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years industrial manufacturing experience in a continuous process.
• 2+ years plant maintenance experience.
• 2+ years maintenance and reliability improvement experience.
• Must be able to become Level 1 Thermography, Vibration Analysis 1 and Machinery Lubrication Technician 1 within 2 years.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Oversee FRACAS process with weekly downtime reporting and monthly reviews.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance, PM optimization, criticality assessments, and PdM practices.
• Oversee lubrication program to improve OEE and asset reliability.
• Develop annual and 5-year workforce development plans.
• Maintain and report maintenance KPIs and audit practices.
