Job summary

GAF is seeking a Reliability Engineer II to take ownership of reliability and maintenance programs, driving uptime improvements, reducing downtime, and lowering costs across plant equipment. The role collaborates with Maintenance and Operations to implement robust metrics and sustain long-term reliability goals.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in reliability engineering, lubrication management, vibration analysis, PDm tools, and CMA/Maximo, with a focus on improving maintainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 2+ years in industrial manufacturing, preferably in continuous processes.
• 2+ years of plant maintenance experience.
• 2+ years in maintenance and reliability improvement.
• Ability to obtain Level 1 Thermography, Vibration Analysis 1 and Machinery Lubrication Technician 1 within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe and clean work environment where safety is a priority.
• Manage FRACAS process with weekly downtime reporting and monthly meetings.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs including PM optimization and criticality assessments.
• Lead lubrication programs to improve OEE and asset life.
• Develop workforce development plans and track KPIs for the department.
• Audit maintenance practices and document workflows for maintenance processes.
