Job summary

GAF is seeking a Reliability Engineer II to advance reliability and maintenance programs, lead initiatives to optimize machine uptime, and reduce equipment failure. This role focuses on maintainability, extending equipment life, and implementing engineering solutions that improve operator effectiveness and expedite maintenance services.

You will collaborate with Maintenance and Operations to reach long-term reliability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years plant maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of maintenance and reliability improvement experience.
• Willing to obtain Level 1 Thermography, Vibration Analysis 1, and Machinery Lubrication Technician 1 within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe and clean work environment with safety as a priority.
• Manage FRACAS with weekly downtime reporting and monthly meetings.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs and PM optimization.
• Improve OEE through lubrication and maintenance practices.
• Develop annual and 5-year workforce development plans.
• Maintain KPIs and audit maintenance practices.
