Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager II in Irvine, CA to acquire and deepen client relationships across personal and small business clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, connecting client needs with CNB products and services, while applying a disciplined sales and service approach.

You will manage a book of clients, collaborate with CNB teams, and drive deposits, loans, and fee income growth with a focus on risk management and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial institution required.
• Must be in good standing under Safe Act and registered/licensed or eligible to be registered.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and deepen client relationships; generate new business and consumer client relationships within assigned segments.
• Manage a portfolio of existing clients and deepen relationships through cross-selling; coordinate with CNB teams to address service needs.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience; ensure needs are met, escalations resolved, and service delivery is consistent.
• Improve banking acumen and sales practices through collaboration with SME colleagues and internal training.
• Capture holistic view of client needs and provide sound financial advice based on client data and discovery.
