Job summary

J Street in Washington, DC is seeking a Relationship Manager for the DC, Maryland and Virginia region. The hybrid role requires 2 days in office and some travel for meetings with leaders and donors.

You will cultivate donors, engage lay leadership, and expand J Street’s network in the Capital region. The role supports fundraising, donor stewardship, and chapter development across DMV, reporting to the Regional Director.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage relationships with existing donors to maintain and increase their financial support.
• Identify new funding sources through prospect identification, research and development.
• Plan and implement high-impact donor gatherings in the region that raise funds and expand leadership.
• Develop leaders in key DMV cities and engage lay leaders in advocacy and organizational work.
• Support DMV chapters with regular meetings and strategic programming.
