Share Our Strength in Washington, DC is seeking a Development Associate for the Mid-Atlantic region to advance major and principal donor relationships. The role collaborates with the Director of Development, Mid-Atlantic to expand a defined donor portfolio and increase long-term value.

You will support donor events, coordinate stewardship activities, and handle some administrative tasks to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating donor outreach and stewardship.
• Experience supporting donor events and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage cultivation and stewardship of major/principal donors in the Mid-Atlantic.
• Deepen donor relationships through personalized outreach and communications.
• Support events such as the DC No Kid Hungry Dinner and other market events.
• Provide administrative support to the Mid-Atlantic team.
