Job summary

Pathways to Housing DC seeks an Individual Giving Manager to nurture donor relationships, lead appeals, and grow private support from individuals. You will manage a portfolio, collaborate with leadership, and shape cultivation strategies.

The role is hybrid in Washington, DC, with occasional in-person meetings, events, and donor visits. Pathways DC supports Housing First and ending homelessness, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least three years of nonprofit fundraising or donor relationship experience.
• Experience cultivating donor relationships and asking for financial support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to attend occasional in-person meetings in the Washington, DC area.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; Bloomerang knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build donor relationships and grow giving through tailored cultivation plans.
• Plan and execute donor campaigns, including year-end appeals and targeted outreach.
• Coordinate donor site visits and events to deepen engagement.
• Maintain accurate donor records and reporting in the database.
