Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington seeks a Donor Relations Associate to join the Resource Development team in the Washington, DC area. You will work with the Director of Special Events and Donor Relations to build meaningful donor relationships and steward gifts.

Responsibilities include managing giving societies, supporting event logistics, researching venues, coordinating donor recognition, and collaborating across departments to ensure accurate agreements and compelling outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
• 1–3 years of experience managing donor engagement and/or fundraising events
• Commitment to BGCGW's mission and high ethical standards
• Excellent attention to detail and follow through with project management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
• Positive, team-oriented attitude in a development environment
• Willingness to collaborate across departments and multiple clubs across the DC area
• Must have reliable home internet and provided work equipment

Responsibilities

• Manage giving societies, donor onboarding and monthly contributor activities.
• Support pre/post-event logistics and administrative duties.
• Research venues and vendors to meet event requirements and budgets.
• Assist in soliciting in-kind donations.
• Plan and deploy donor stewardship events and mailings.
• Develop campaigns and recognition for donors and supporters.
• Coordinate meetings and communications with donors and community members.
• Lead stewardship activities and sponsorship benefit administration.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate agreements and documentation.
