Job summary

Pathways to Housing DC is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to cultivate donor relationships, manage a portfolio, and lead donor communications in a hybrid DC office setting. You will coordinate campaigns, write appeals, and partner with leadership to secure gifts that advance the mission.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, strategic outreach, and meticulous donor data management, with opportunities to grow the program and impact for homelessness services in the DC area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
• At least three years of nonprofit fundraising or donor relationship experience.
• Experience using a donor database to maintain records and guide outreach.
• Clear, engaging writing with the ability to explain an organization's work to different audiences.
• Ability to attend occasional in-person meetings in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities

• Build donor relationships and grow giving through portfolio management.
• Plan and execute individual giving campaigns and appeals.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify prospects and solicit major gifts.
• Prepare materials and research for donor meetings and asks.
• Track revenue, donor retention, and campaign results.
