Relationship Manager, Middle Market

The Relationship Manager is responsible for new business development, portfolio management, and underwriting to support the needs of the group. This role focuses on clients with annual revenues typically between $30MM and $500MM.

Position Competencies:

Successful incumbents are customer-focused, demonstrate strong decision-making, drive results, are good listeners and creative thinkers, negotiate effectively, take command of situations, build strong peer relationships, and manage with courage.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new business relationships.
  2. Maintain and develop customer relationships, new business, and periodically review existing loan arrangements.
  3. Negotiate appropriate loan structures and promote the Bank's credit and non-credit products.
  4. Accept special projects to support the team and community involvement.
  5. Maintain knowledge of corporate banking, credit, non-credit products, trust, real estate, treasury management, and other bank functions.
  6. Maintain knowledge of accounting, financial principles, marketing, sales, credit analysis, economics, and other bank functions.
Travel

Travel is required at least 10% of the time.

Position Qualifications:
First Level Officer, Relationship Manager I, Middle Market
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Completion of a Commercial Credit Training Program
  • 12-18 months of experience underwriting commercial loans
  • 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Assistant Vice President, Relationship Manager II, Middle Market
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Completion of a Commercial Credit Training Program
  • 3 years of commercial lending experience
  • 2 years managing a portfolio of clients
  • 2 years of financial sales experience
Work Environment

Category C - Days in the office will vary from 2-5 days per week. Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Compensation

Salary to be determined based on individual experience.
